This is one of the shots that I am most proud of, you would think that I had sat for ages just waiting for the light to be just perfect.
But this was not the case, it was one of these moments when the opportunity was staring me in the face. Well the rear-view mirror in my case.
As I checked for following traffic, I saw this wonderful scene behind me, the trees in silhouette against the gorgeous pinks, purples and yellows, just took my breath away.
Luckily the layby on the big straight was just ahead, so I managed to stop safely, if not I’m sure I would have just stopped in the middle of the road, just to get this shot!
